Dear Friends and Fans:
Just a quick update! I was recently involved with an event to raise funds for the Hurricane Sandy victims!
It was a great turnout, with a memorable performance from Naughty by Nature! Who doesn’t love a little “OPP”?
Here is an article on the event:
Next stop will be New Years Eve in Canada! Stay in touch- I’ll be Tweeting and Blogging about Canada over the next few weeks!
Have a great holiday season and happy new year!
Let me just start be expressing my sincere apologies that I have not been writing! To tell you the truth, the last few weeks have been extremely saddening, and unfortunate due to the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.
As you may know, I am a resident in Staten Island, and grew up here. This is where my family, and long time friends are as well.
Luckily, all I lost was power, but after seeing the destruction of people standing in the street looking at what once was their home (now a pile of bricks) I knew I had to help.
I immediately spoke with several business owners, including the local “soup man” here in Staten Island, and we started serving free soup from his truck to people struggling, and cold. In one day, we served over 400 people, and the numbers only grew. By day three we were up to thousands.
I donated to the Red Cross as well because I know that the money will go directly to the funding for food, shelter, and supplies for the people who have lost their homes; not only in Staten Island, but all over the Tri-State area.
If you can, please donate to the Red Cross, any amount will help!
Hope you are all doing well, and are getting ready for a great Thanksgiving! Spend time with your families and be thankful for all you have!
Happy Friday guys!
I’m off to Ohio for the weekend for a few appearances and radio shows! Can’t wait to meet everyone and wear my Halloween costumes!
What is everyone doing for the weekend?
I spent most of yesterday in the recording studio. Yes, you heard correctly- I’ve been doing some recording of a few new ideas recently, and taking vocal lessons! I know it’s been a while, but singing is a passion of mine which you will see alot more of soon.
Here are a few shots of me in the studio with Adam Barta, Harry Legg, and of my new red hair! I love these guys!
Let me know what you think!
Have a great weekend, and Monday I’ll have some more updates for you on this weekends movie shoot!
Meet Peanut! The love of my life, and the best dog in the world. I found Peanut in Staten Island, New York when she was 4 months old. She had a twin sister who had another home, but she just jumped right into my arms and this love affair was meant to be!
Recently, I’ve become involved with the ASPCA in the Tri-State area where I can live my passion daily. I could not imagine what would have happened if Peanut had not found a good home, and I want to make sure that all animals find their home as well.
I’ll be promoting the ASPCA t-shirts in which all proceeds will go to the ASPCA to keep animals off the street and cared for, in order for them to find loving homes!
You can purchase through the ASPCA online store here:
As you can see I am an avid animal lover. What are your stories about your pets?
So, this week I had the opportunity to talk on the Rutgers Radio Station, @WRNU! It was so much fun meeting the team and talking about my plans beyond the Jersey Shore which include taking acting classes, and my upcoming appearance in a movie which will be shooting in New Jersey next week!
Also, check out my article in The Rutgers Observer!
Thanks for making me feel so welcome Rutgers!
