Hi guys!
Let me just start be expressing my sincere apologies that I have not been writing! To tell you the truth, the last few weeks have been extremely saddening, and unfortunate due to the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.
As you may know, I am a resident in Staten Island, and grew up here. This is where my family, and long time friends are as well.
Luckily, all I lost was power, but after seeing the destruction of people standing in the street looking at what once was their home (now a pile of bricks) I knew I had to help.
I immediately spoke with several business owners, including the local “soup man” here in Staten Island, and we started serving free soup from his truck to people struggling, and cold. In one day, we served over 400 people, and the numbers only grew. By day three we were up to thousands.

I donated to the Red Cross as well because I know that the money will go directly to the funding for food, shelter, and supplies for the people who have lost their homes; not only in Staten Island, but all over the Tri-State area.
If you can, please donate to the Red Cross, any amount will help!

Hope you are all doing well, and are getting ready for a great Thanksgiving! Spend time with your families and be thankful for all you have!
Xo,
Ang
